In JOE & THE JUICE, ‘Brille’ is a universal nickname for a person who is yet to become good enough at a specific task or role. It is normally used for referring to a Prospect JQ who is on a journey towards becoming a JQ Juicer. It also serves as a motivation for them wanting to become better at what they do to escape the nickname. The use of the nickname is deeply tied to our culture and is frequently used as a sign of ‘loving respect’ amongst all Juicers. It reminds us that we have all been a ‘Brille’ at one point in our careers and it takes time to become good at something.
