At JOE, we prioritize flexibility in your work schedule. Your guaranteed hours are outlined in your employment contract, representing our commitment to providing you with working hours during the month. However, you are always welcome to take on additional shifts or swap shifts if you need additional time off.

Your work schedule is created at least one month in advance and can be viewed through our internal platform, Workplanner. The Shiftplan schedule for the following period will be available every 1st of the month through Workplanner, providing you with a clear overview of your work commitments and allowing you to plan your personal time.

If you need to modify your general availability or have questions regarding your schedule, please reach out to your manager. Please note that any changes in general availability should be notified to your manager one month in advance covering the following Shiftplan period.

You are required to clock in and out of each shift using the designated iPad in store. You must only clock in once you are ready to start your shift.

The purpose of our clock in/out system is to accurately record your attendance at the start and end of each shift. The final clock ins will be the base of the final compensation paid, capturing any recorded lateness or additional hours worked.

You are only expected to work your scheduled hours, or the hours planned and approved by your manager. You must clock in at the assigned start time and clock out at the end of your scheduled work hours or when you go off duty.

Please note that clocking in/out for other employees is not allowed. If you make a mistake with your clock ins/outs, please email your bar manager, providing your actual shift times so they can be adjusted in the system.

The Shift Marketplace on Workplanner2 is your go-to place for swapping shifts, whether you want to take on additional shifts or swap shifts to get additional time off. You can also use our shift swap group chat on the app to help you find extra hours or someone to cover your shift. All shift swaps must be approved by a manager and are not final until the manager of the specific bar has approved the swap.

All shift swaps must be registered through the Shift Marketplace.
