The secondment policy at HQ Denmark supports the transfer of employees within Joe & the Juice and to franchisees, ensuring compliance with local laws and employment regulations. Our secondment policy offers two primary employment options when transferring employees between markets: local employment and secondment. Local employment is standard, requiring valid work permits, local identification, and bank accounts to ensure legal operation and payment.
Alternatively, secondment is used for short-term assignments or specific circumstances such as franchise operations or temporary postings within the EU under the A1 scheme. This scheme maintains employees’ social security status from their home countries during their assignment, minimizing administrative barriers and ensuring smooth transitions between markets.
We want to ensure employees maintain their rights and continuity of employment, whether they are locally employed or seconded for special assignments. Employees must have legal work authorization in the new market, and the terms of employment or secondment are clearly defined to ensure transparency and protect both the employee and us as a company.
