We're excited to have you join us and are committed to making your transition into your new role as smooth and successful as possible. Here’s what you can expect during your onboarding process.
On your first day, our front desk receptionist will welcome you at the reception and follow you to your new department and desk. There, you will find an onboarding package that includes your email, system logins, and office keys. If there should by any means be any issues or missing needed equipment, please let People & Development know who will make sure to take care of it.
Your manager and team will welcome you with a small onboarding breakfast, providing an opportunity to meet the team and gain insights into the department workflow, responsibility areas and (if any) sub-departments.
After the breakfast, your onboarding program will (per usual) commence with a guided tour of the office, led by your manager or buddy. During the tour, you'll be introduced to the rest of your new colleagues and learn your way around the office spaces. As you probably will discover, there is a lot of people in the office that go by their nickname instead of their real name – so don’t get confused, you will learn it.
Depending on your onboarding program either your team, buddy, or manager will help you log into relevant systems such as WorkPlanner 2, e-Campus, and SharePoint. You'll use your Juicer ID and personal password for access. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to either your local HR or IT.
Over the coming days and weeks, you’ll come learn more about our company and how we operate.
During your first week, you’ll be paired with a buddy from a different department. Your buddy will be your go-to person for any questions and will support you as you settle into your new role and work environment. They will also be a familiar face and help you expand your internal network by connecting you with colleagues in various departments of the company- and maybe be your beer pong partner to your first Friday bar?
Within your first week(s), you'll find pre-scheduled meetings with relevant stakeholders already arranged and listed in your calendar.
Additionally, you will have your onboarding picture taken for internal use, this will be pre-booked in your calendar as well.
After your first month, we’ll schedule a Catch-Up Coffee with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. This is an opportunity for you to share your experiences, discuss any challenges, and ensure you're settling in well. This meeting marks the final step of your official onboarding.
At the first coming company HQ monthly meeting, you'll be introduced to all our HQ and OH colleagues worldwide. Employees at the Head Of level and above will introduce themselves, while managers will introduce all other team members.
As a key part of your onboarding you will be joining those of your new colleagues who started at JOE around the same time as for our events called "Team Introduction". It is as the words are saying an introduction to the teams. The Team Introductions will be facilitated on a quarterly basis. Team Introductions are a great way for everyone to be introduced and engage across departments and get to know each other.

This event is also an excellent way for you to meet other new employees and gain insights into different areas of the company. Understanding these various functions will be beneficial as you are likely to collaborate across departments during your time with us.
If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach out to your manager, buddy or the People & Development team.
