All absences related to vacation, sickness or similar must be reported to your manager via email, Teams or phone as soon as possible. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring that the absence is registered in the WP2 system. The managers are responsible for making sure that their employees have done their registration correct. If any adjustments are registered later than the 20th of each month, please make sure that the People & Development and Payroll team receives this information. The holiday accrual period for all employees, both full-time and part-time, runs from 1 September to 31 August of the following year, during which they are entitled to 25 days of vacation, accruing at a rate of 2.08 days per month.
The holiday supplement, which is 1% of the holiday-eligible salary, is paid twice a year: once in May for the period from September to May and once in August for June to August. Employees can take vacations as they accrue them up to 31 December of the following year. They are encouraged to use all earned vacation days within the holiday year, but can transfer up to 5 days to the next year if agreed upon by 31 December. Additionally, full-time employees at Joe & the Juice HQ in Denmark receive 5 extra vacation days known as annual vacation days (feriefridage).
For part-time employees, the payment for the earned holiday allowance can be made monthly through borger.dk, amounting to 12.5% of the holiday-eligible salary.

All HQ full-time employees are entitled to 5 annual vacation (feriefridage). The vacation days align with the calendar year and not the vacation year. The amount of vacation days granted depends of the quarter of your start date and can not be carried over to the next year or paid out. If sick before vacation, days can be replaced, if sick during vacation, days can not be replaced.
Part-time employees are not granted annual vacation days, but will receive a 2,5% vacation allowance added to their holiday allowance equivalent to the 5 annual vacation days.
All vacation requests must be approved in writing by your manager and registeried into WP2 by the employee in as good time as possible.

When going on vacation please remember to create an autoreply, update your calendar with "Out of Office" and also register on WP2, so both colleagues and stakeholders are informed regarding your absence.

You must report any sickness absence no later than the start of your work day via email, Teams or phone to your manager. You are obligated to keep your manager regularly updated on your condition. In the event of a longer period of illness, you must discuss and agree on the terms with your manager.
Medical and dental appointments should, to the extent possible, be scheduled outside of working hours.
As a parent of a child or children under 14 years old, you are eligible for paid leave on your child's first sick day after being employed for at least three months. Please remember to notify your manager prior to the start of your workday and remember to register the absence in WP2. Additionally, the system currently does not have the functionality to register the child's first sick day, therefore you need to register it as if you were sick yourself.
