We prioritize the well-being and happiness of our employees, understanding that a healthy balance between work and spare time activities are essential for the overall engagement.
We believe that taking regular holidays is crucial for maintaining mental and physical health, preventing burnout, and fostering a positive work environment.
Whether it is a long weekend to unwind or a two-week adventure abroad, we encourage all employees to take as much vacation time as they need or desire.
In line with this philosophy, we provide statutory leave in accordance with UK regulations, ensuring that employees have the opportunity to rest, recharge, and pursue personal interests outside of work.
You accrue a total of 28 days of holiday allowance, including for bank holidays, per year from January 1st to 31st December unless your contract of employment states differently. If you join the company during the current leave year, holiday allowance accrues from the first day of your employment, on a pro-rata basis.
Use it or lose it - unused holiday allowance cannot be carried over into a new year, nor can it be paid out.
Requests for holiday must be submitted in writing to your manager a minimum of four weeks in advance, following the shiftplan period.
Your manager is allowed to reject your request for holiday, based on the stores operational needs for example in periods where several colleagues request vacation in the same period or in peak business periods.
Based on operational needs you can not take more than two weeks of holiday consecutively. However, you can agree a period of extended, unpaid leave with your manager in exceptional circumstances.
For detailed information on our holiday policy, read the full policy here.

You are expected to notify your manager of any sickness-related absence 12 hours before your scheduled shift. This allows your manager to arrange suitable cover for your shift.
If you're absent due to sickness for a period of 4-7 days, you may qualify for Statutory Sick Pay. Please use the provided link here to self-certify and submit the completed form to your local People Team.
For absence related to sickness exceeding 7 days, you must obtain a doctor's note ('fit note') specifying the required recovery time to be eligible for Statutory Sick Pay. Please send this documentation to your local people team.
All approved Statutory Sick Pay will be included in the pay run for the following period.
Medical and dental appointments should, to the extent possible, be scheduled outside of working hours. In cases where this is not possible, you are permitted to use the Shift Marketplace to swap your shift. If you require additional guidance or assistance with swapping your shift, please contact your manager, who will help you find a suitable solution.
