“This song is from my earlier days of working BTC in JOE Rødovre Magasin. One of the guys I was working with shared some music he really liked to listen to. One of the artists were St Germain and his albums “Boulevard” & “Tourist” quickly became my JOE anthem when working BTC. The music genre was called, at that time, Underground House music. Today most people would categorise it as lounge music, sounds the underground house music scene has developed much since then. Nowadays, to me it is a nostalgic feel of funky soothing tones, low-key chords and up-beat cool rhythms. I strongly recommend to listen through the classic and timeless albums to experience the original feel of lounge music.”
