Operational Functions
- Button 1 - Hot Full Batch - 1 gallon, 3.8lts
- Button 2 - Hot Half Batch - Half gallon, 2.2 lts
- Button 3 - Full Iced Batch - 1 gallon, 3.8 lts - concentrated brew with ice added to process
Cleaning Required
- Daily cleaning of dispensers
- Weeklydeep clean of dispensers
Maintenance Required
- Water filter cartridge to be replaced every 6-12 months
FETCO's CBS 1231 & MBS 1221 - Recipe
Hot Full Batch (Button 1)
- Weigh out 250g of Joe's Filter Coffee beans
- Set EK 43 grinder to desired number 7 as a starting point - grind size will vary depending on flavour needed - (finer stronger) (coarser weaker)
- Place paper filter into basket and prewet paper filter
- Ensure hopper gate is closed and add beans to hopper
- Start motor on EK grinder, place basket with filter paper under and release hopper gate to grind coffee dose into filter paper
- Level ground coffee in basket and place into brewer
- Place washed out and clean 1 gallon coffee dispenser into position and start the brew process - BUTTON 1 - FULL BATCH
- Once brew is complete set timer for 2 hours - when alarm sounds at 2 hours discard old coffee and make fresh batch
Hot Half Batch (Button 2)
- Weigh out 125g of Joe's Filter Coffee
- Set EK 43 grinder to desired number 7 as a starting point - grind size will vary depending on flavour needed - (finer stronger) (coarser weaker)
- Place paper filter into basket and prewet paper filter
- Ensure hopper gate is closed and add beans to hopper
- Start motor on EK grinder, place basket with filter paper under and release hopper gate to grind coffee dose into filter paper
- Level ground coffee in basket and place into brewer
- Place washed out and clean 1 gallon coffee dispenser into position and start the brew process - BUTTON 2 - HALF BATCH
- Once brew is complete set timer for 2 hours - when alarm sounds at 2 hours discard old coffee and make fresh batch
Iced Full Batch (Button 3)
- Weigh out 200g of Joe's Filter Coffee
- Set EK 43 grinder to desired number 7 as a starting point - grind size will vary depending on flavour needed - (finer stronger) (coarser weaker)
- Place paper filter into basket and prewet paper filter
- Ensure hopper gate is closed and add beans to hopper
- Start motor on EK grinder, place basket with filter paper under and release hopper gate to grind coffee dose into filter paper
- Level ground coffee in basket and place into brewer
- Weigh out 1.3kg of ice and add to washed out and clean coffee dispenser
- Place washed out and clean 1 gallon coffee dispenser into position and start the brew process - BUTTON 3 - ICED FULL BATCH
- Ensure all ice has melted other wise stir to break ice down
- Once brew is complete set timer for 2 hours- when alarm sounds at 2 hours discard old coffee and make fresh batch
