The Closing Shift is where we clean the entire bar, and make it ready for the next day.

The following days, the Trainee practices all training goals until they are ready for the validation

CLOSING:
Closing the store is the last step of a day in Joe & The Juice. The main objective is to clean the store well and prepare it for the next day for the opening team.
The quality of the close is what determines how the next day is going to be. When the closing Juicer(s) manages to clean the store well and re-fill all work-stations, the opening team will have a much higher chance of preparing the store for success the following day.
The key periods of a Closing are:
Afternoon Traffic: Keeping the store clean and re-stocked
Pre-close: Preparing the close, while keeping the store fully open
Close Store: Fully clean all areas of the bar

The Look is the fundamental guidelines in how to maintain neat and presentable Guest Areas. The following actions should be carried during the shift in order to keep the Guest Areas neat and presentable.
All Juicers are accountable for maintaining nice and clean guest areas. Therefore, we should teach new juicers from day 1.

The following are the goals for working on a Close Shift. The goals function as the guide in what the Juicer should be trained in and practice towards their validation.

Until 1 Hour Before Close:
- Carry out a full re-stock following ideal stock
- Maintain all guest areas: Visit and tidy every 30th minute
Until Store Closes:
- Carry out pre-close on all stations one station at a time
- Does not make the store look closed in any way at any given time
- Prioritises the guests before cleaning in all scenarios
Before Leaving the Store:
