Introduction to KALEI COFFEE

Established in 2015, Kalei was the first specialty coffee roastery and café in Lebanon. Serving sustainably sourced high quality coffee roasted in Beirut.

Kalei Coffee Co.’s flagship in Beirut’s Mar Mikhael/Rmeil district was once the Coconi House, abandoned in 1984 during the Lebanese civil war. When we entered the garden, we felt at home, offering a quiet escape from the nearby hustle. We preserved the old structure, allowing the space to guide our operations. In September 2015, Kalei’s first coffee house and roastery opened, honoring the past.

We use two different coffee’s

Espresso Blend:

• Joe’s Espresso Blend has been chosen to be used for all milk based coffee drinks and espresso

Flavour Profile:

• Darkchocolate, caramel, almond

Coffee Origin:

• 75%Brazil, 25% Guatemala

Filter Coffee:

• 100%Single Origin

Flavour Profile:

• Milk chocolate, light stonefruit

Coffee Origin:

• Colombia
