How to programming the water volumetric:

  1. Always program from left group head across to the right
  2. Remove portafilter and purge some water
  3. Hold down spiral button until the green LED flashes
  4. Place scale on drip tray under the group head you want to set
  5. Place purple cup on scale and zero set --> ensure cup is positioned under group to catchall water
  6. Press double shot button to start water
  7. When water volume reaches 60g on scale press double shot to stop water and scale display should be 65g
  8. Pressspiral button to leave programming mode --> LED will turn off
Dose 18g – 17g basket

Yield 36g

Extraction times 25-30 sec

*REPEAT THIS PROCESS ON ALL OTHERGROUPS TO SET WATER VOLUME*

How to programming the water volumetric:

Step 1

  1. Always start with left group head
  2. Remove portafilter and purge some water
  3. Places scales on drip tray under group head with a purple cup in position to catch water when released
  4. Zero set the scale
  5. Longhold the spiral button until group dose settings displays on screen then let go
  6. Pressspiral button again
  7. Programme dose will display
  8. Pressspiral button again
  9. Press “enter to exit” will display
  10. You now want to programme the water volume
  11. Press double shot button and watch scale weight
  12. When scale reads 60g (60ml) press double shot button to stop water
  13. Scale should show 65g (65ml) --> This is the ideal amount
*If not in range --> restart the scale and repeat process by pressing double shot button to achieve required volume*

Step 2

  1. Now time to copy dose from group head one across to other groups
  2. Pressspiral button- *programme volume dose* will show
  3. Press double shot button until *copy dose* shows
  4. Press spiral button
  5. Press button *to copy* will show
  6. Press double shot button on left group
  7. Press double shot button on right group to copy left group setting to right
  8. Press spiral button *copy dose* will show on screen
  9. Press double shot button to work through the menu until *group dose exit* shows
  10. Press spiral button to enter and *group dose settings* will show
  11. Keep pressing double shot button to work through menu until *exit menu* shows
  12. Pressspiral button then process is complete

Then press double shot button on left group and right group. The time on display should say the same 7 – 8 seconds

  4. Reset set the scale
  5. Longhold the spiral button until “water volume programming” displays on screen
  6. Flashing light will indicate the keypad is in programming mode
  7. Press double shot button to start water and watch weight displayed on scale
  8. When scale reaches 60g (60ml) press the double shot button to stop the water
  9. Scale should read 65g (65ml) when completed
*If not in range --> restart the scale and repeat process by pressing double shot button to achieve required volume*
  1. Once correct amount of water is set press on/off button to leave programming mode
*Setting programmed on group 1 will automatically copy to other groups*
